I completed my first year of Massage Therapy in 2012, and my second year advanced diploma in 2019. Over the years, I have taken courses on Pregnancy & Infant Massage, Palliative & Wheelchair Massage, Active Release Technique-Upper & Lower Extremity.
Craniosacral Levels 1 &2. Visceral Level 1.
I am always looking for ways to expand my knowledge and enrich my practice. In the future, I plan to take some courses on fascia, body mechanics and proper movement patterns, assessment, and concussion therapies.
Our bodies are constantly adapting, changing, and rebuilding. I believe that each treatment should reflect this, working with the changes happening within the body. I like to tailor the treatment specifically to the client. This could mean an adjustment in pressure, technique, or overall treatment. I see the importance of modifying to each clients varying levels of tolerance. Which means I adjust my pressure to each persons comfort level. If someone responds well to more gentle pressure, I adjust accordingly. If my client responds well to deeper pressure, that's what I utilize. Just as I do if I have an elderly person, or an athlete come in, each treatment is tailored.
I love my work, and truly do my best to get your body back to functioning at its optimal level.

My Philosophy
My Story
I first became interested in health and wellness in my early 20's. I felt as though things were being missed, or overlooked with the traditional medical care I had been used to. I began to take my own health seriously, by seeking alternative therapies like Naturopathic care, spiritual care, and exercise. I began to explore other ways to support my body and facilitate its own healing. I dove into the realm of vitamins, natural supplements, homeopathy, and knowledge of the body and its processes. I took courses for my own knowledge on these topics. Listened to hours of online summit interviews on various topics under the health umbrella from autoimmunity, food sensitivities, the microbiome, vaccination etc. I had an unquenchable desire to learn more and more within the healing realm, and was fascinated in the bodies ability to heal-if given the right tools. I love to learn about the topics that I am passionate about, and will forever be a student. I have continually worked to expand my knowledge base ever since.
I moved to Rocky in 2010, and decided to start my career within the health industry. I took my first year of Massage Therapy and then proceeded to start my own practice in 2012.
In 2018 started up a new practice "Womb To World specifically aimed at supporting women and their families through my postpartum services. Later that year I began to offer massage services again, and with that came a name change (and more schooling!) Since then, it has evolved and grown and I am so proud of where it stands today as: WTW Massage & Postpartum.
